  Normally, 5-stars -- my favorite Smith's album. I received the recent version, that Marr remixed when putting together Complete Smiths. Sound is FANTASTIC. But, warning if you are reading older CD reviews: this does NOT include the single, "How Soon Is Now."/5().

  Mar 23,  · For some reason, this album gets a bit of a bad review in comparison to The Smiths other releases, but I feel that bad review is a bit unjustified. The lyrical content is somewhat the same as any other Smiths albums but the music is just as strong/5().

  Mar 30,  · First: Beware!Since about there is a counterfeit pressing on heavyweight vinyl (gg) which imitates this German RTD 28 release. I think it also can be identified that the matrix is missing in the runout and it does not have the Sonopress "Bass clef" on the center label on side 2. Second: releases Meat Is Murder and Meat Is Murder share the same lacquer cut by Günter Pauler /5(K).

  Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of this album from the legendary British quartet. With their second proper album Meat Is Murder, The Smiths began to branch out and diversify, while refining the jangling guitar pop of their debut/5().

  Nov 18,  · Meat Is Murder-- which followed Hatful by a mere three months-- is better recorded than The Smiths, although it's more a bunch of songs that didn't fit on singles than a coherent album /
