As Emerson, Lake & Palmer were making a comeback on-stage and on record (with Black Moon) in the early '90s, their former record label, Atlantic, launched a series of digitally remastered reissues of their catalog and packaged this two-CD collection. ELP best-of records abound, but this one remains the best.9/

This double CD set picks from all these albums so let's take a closer look. The collection opens with four tracks from ELP's self-titled debut set, notably that albums' standout track, the twelve and a half minute "Take A Pebble" which features some delightful piano work from Keith Emerson. Emerson, Lake & Palmer/5(21).

Product description. Lake & Palmer Emerson ~ The Best Of Emerson Lake & Palm geitridefrasmaronilabiccithege.co Focusing on Greg Lake's overly pretty radio tunes ("Lucky Man," "In the Beginning," etc.), this well-programmed single volume becomes almost definitive by finding room for the only Carl Emerson opus that stands the test of time--the still-powerful minute suite from Tarkus/5(68).
