  The Abbey Road Medley is on the second side of The Beatles' album, Abbey Road. The Beatles revealed that they created the medley to "use up" several previously incomplete songs. All the songs are in different keys and styles and all written by different composers to cover almost the entire B-side of Abbey Road.   The final Beatles album was first released on 8th May, - just prior to the launch of the cinema film of the same name. Rehearsals and recording sessions for the album had taken place in January, - first At Twickenham Film Studios, later in the basement and on the roof of their Apple headquarters on London's Savile Row.
