  About Blowing Kisses in the Wind "Blowing Kisses in the Wind" was the third single from Paula Abdul's album, Spellbound. The music video featured Abdul dancing on a theater stage, ballet-style. Like her other videos it got strong play on MTV. The song was written by Peter Lord.

The album debuted at number five on the Billboard in its first week and rose four spots to number one the following week. It stayed at the summit for two consecutive weeks, selling 88, and 89, units respectively.

She continued to find success with the release of Spellbound (), her second studio album. It debuted at number five on the Billboard , climbing to the top soon after it was released.
